Welcome to The Lighter Side of Retirement, where Earl, his wife Dot, the occasional friend, and their dog Tippy take a humorous look at retirement, aging, money, faith, and the often bewildering experience of being a Christian trying to finish well in a world that can’t quite agree on what that means.
Earl works hard at it and means well, but occasionally gets lost in the details. Dot sees things clearly, but often has a degree of skepticism. And Tippy, who’s named after a certain inflation-protected financial instrument, never misses a chance to offer thoughts and “tips” of his own—he has questions and opinions about everything.
